QAFI | Quaternary Active Faults Database of Iberia QAFI database is a project periodically revised and updated as a consequence of Earth Science progress in earthquake prone structures in Iberia. Nevertheless earthquakes can occur in areas where no active faults were described before either because they were not studied yet or simply because they do not outcrop at the surface. Hence QAFI data cannot be considered complete or definitive just updated on the base of available scientific literature.
